The Go Wish Challenge: Planning Your Future with a Deck of Cards

Today I'm joined by Dr. Gary Lee and pastor Larry Wildemuth of the CODA Alliance, who advocate for Advanced Care Planning. We talk about this a fair bit on this podcast, and it may seem like a downer, but believe it or not, you can actually have some fun with it!

And that's thanks to the Go Wish cards, which turn end of life discussions into a truly engaging activity.

The cards have all kinds of prompts that you can separate into "priority piles," and start you on the path to clarity and peace of mind.

It's important to have open conversations with your loved ones about end-of-life decisions, particularly anyone you've chosen as a surrogate decision-maker. Get things in writing, and help your family avoid the difficult guesswork that would arise without knowing your intentions.

The greatest gift you can give your family is clarity in your wishes, and Go Wish helps you tackle this with aplomb and confidence.

Go Wish cards can be obtained for a very minimal cost, and indeed they can be found in digital form for free on the CODA website, in multiple languages. But as a non-profit enterprise, it's money that goes to a good cause, so consider ordering a pack or two for those who might be ready for these discussions, or perhaps need a little push!
